Anees
Ul Islam

Developer & Computer Programming Graduate

Recent graduate of the Computer Programming Diploma program at George Brown College (April 2026). I build backend systems, relational databases, and full-stack web applications. My coursework and project work spans Python/Flask, C#/.NET, SQL database design, and modern JavaScript — with hands-on experience shipping a production-deployed ticketing platform as a capstone project.

I am actively seeking roles in software development or database administration where I can apply what I have built and keep growing under experienced teams.

2025 PETMS — Public Event Ticket Management System
Flask · Python · SQLite

A full-stack web application built as the COMP 2154 System Development Project capstone. PETMS allows event organizers to create and manage public events with tiered ticketing, and attendees to register, purchase, and manage their bookings. Deployed live on Render.

  • Designed the relational database schema from requirements through production — tables, relationships, constraints, and multi-role access (admin, organizer, attendee)
  • Wrote SQL scripts for data setup, validation checks, and query operations across all user roles
  • Built backend routes and user authentication using Flask and SQLite
  • Collaborated in a team of four using Git for version control, code reviews, and branch management
  • Maintained Dev and Test environments and documented changes across each project iteration
